Specialism COSRT Accredited

Psychosexual Therapy

COSRT-accredited psychosexual therapy for individuals and couples navigating sexual difficulties, mismatched desire, or intimacy avoidance.

Overview

Sexual difficulties rarely stay contained to the bedroom - they touch confidence, connection, and how safe you feel being fully yourself with another person. As a COSRT-accredited psychosexual psychotherapist, I offer a space where nothing is too awkward or too small to bring up, and where the physical and emotional sides of intimacy are treated as equally important.

Is This You?

  • You are experiencing sexual difficulties affecting you or your relationship
  • Desire between you and your partner feels mismatched
  • Sex has become a source of anxiety rather than connection
  • You are working through the sexual impact of trauma or infidelity
  • You have never felt able to talk about this with anyone before
  • A life change - illness, childbirth, menopause, ageing - has shifted your sexual relationship with yourself or a partner

What We’ll Work On

  • Male and female sexual dysfunction
  • Low or mismatched desire
  • Intimacy avoidance and performance anxiety
  • Trauma-related sexual difficulties
  • Painful sex and vaginismus-related difficulties
  • Sexual identity and orientation-related questions

This work is rarely just about the physical. Sexual difficulties are usually connected to something else - communication, trust, past experience, or simply never having had a safe space to talk about it. We work at whatever pace lets you actually say what is true.

I am a registered member of COSRT (College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists), reg. 2986, specialising in psychosexual and relationship therapy.
Specialist Focus

Compulsive Sexual Behaviour

Compulsive sexual behaviour - sometimes called sex addiction - is a significant part of my clinical work, and one that carries a great deal of shame for the people who bring it into the room. This is not about judgement or a checklist of “bad” behaviour. It is about understanding what the pattern is actually doing for you, and building a genuinely different relationship with it.

  • Compulsive use of pornography, affairs, or paid sexual services
  • Sexual behaviour that feels out of your control, or that you have tried and failed to stop
  • Using sex or fantasy to manage stress, anxiety, or difficult emotions
  • Secrecy, shame, or a growing gap between your private and public life
  • Relationship or career risk from sexual behaviour that has escalated
Whatever has brought you here, this is a confidential, non-judgemental space to actually look at it - not to be told to simply stop.

“Agatha helped transform my life where instead of playing the victim, I was able to empower myself and determine my own future. She helped me build a healthy relationship with myself.”
